Automated Link Building with KickApps and iMacos

If you don’t already know, KickApps is a social networking/online community script and becoming very popular. But, as far as we are concerned (Blackhats/Greyhats), it allows us to insert numerous links with relevant anchor text. So, to abuse them, all we have to do is sign-up with websites that use KickApps and insert our links… to do this manually would be a pain in the ass, so we automate it with iMacros. Read more about iMacros.

Here’s an example of a KickApps’ site with my link inserted: http://pickinparlor.nationalguitar.com/service/displayKickPlace.kickAction?u=9982967&as=51645

Instructions from the readme file in the Zip below:

KickApps Register & RSS Link Posting Scripts

These scripts will only work with IE6. (Maybe IE7, I havent tested)
They will not work with firefox/mozilla/flock because it handles SAVEPICTUREAS differently.

Requirements:

You will need a http://www.beatcaptchas.com/ account ($8 for 1000 captchas)
The freeware version of imacros for internet explorer from http://www.iopus.com/download/

Installation:
Unzip the archive to your C:\ drive so the files will unzip to c:\kickapps\

Instructions:

Edit c:\kickapps\regandcaptcha.iim so your beatcaptchas.com key is being used. Replace “beatcaptchaskey” with your key.

Edit the registration.csv file with the email address, password and random name you want to use.
Just use find and replace all to change the values or load it up in excel.
Load the regandcaptcha.iim into imacros for internet explorer (You can just cut and paste it in)
click run & it will run through our list.

Wait a couple of days for your new accounts to settle.

Edit rssandlinks.csv so it contains your email address, password and links.
Load the regandcaptcha.iim into imacros for internet explorer
click run & it will run through our list adding 1 RSS feed & 2 links.

Notes:

http://www.beatcaptchas.com/ will on occassion be overloaded, just pause the script for 10 minutes when this happens.
The accounts in this list do not need email verification. This script will not work in the stand alone version of imacros but can be easily edited.

Hey Brad,
Thanks for this!

By the way, do you still have dupeavoider.zip? and can you recommend a good article rewriter plugin?

Yeah this is great link juice. Have been using Senuke to post to these sites but it looks like they will be adding nofollow soon and also removing the link and RSS fields.

Good technique but what about the fact that your link on that profile page has a nofollow tag on it? No link juice there… And I think we could safely assume that that’s the case with all the KickApps links. So what’s the point?

This is VERY similar to Auto-Pligg. Have you played with that at all and has it gotten any better? I have an older copy and it works OK. Many of the links never show up in your backlink profile in GWT or Yahoo SE though. That and you have to let it run all night long for a few hundred links.
