Blog Farm Explosion Review

I’ve reviewed BlogFarmExplosion at WickedFire: http://www.wickedfire.com/traffic-supreme/28246-blog-farm-explosion-review.html

When testing BlogFarmExplosion, it took me about ten minutes to work most of it out and start posting to WP MU sites. I must say I was pretty impressed because of the level of automation: the script automatically registers with the sites of your choice and then you can automatically post to as many of them as you like, with numerous features that make this process very simple. Additionally, DarkSEO tells me that they are adding a large PLR database soon to make post-creating as easy and as automated as possible.

So, how could BlogFarmExplosion be used in a profitable way? Here’s one example (there are more in their private forum): you may know that articles on aged sites can rank well in the SERPS, sometimes all you need to do to get an article to shoot up the SERPS is to throw a number of links at it with relevant anchor text. Well, this is so easy to do with BlogFarmExplosion without spamming and virtually automatically! And this is only one way to use BlogFarmExplosion, there other creative ways to use it, some on the dark side.

Time Out Lately

I haven’t posted much lately for personal reasons, but I’m bouncing back early Jan with a new domain for this site (http://seo2-0.com/), a new theme, and all the stuff I promised previously.

Have a merry Xmas and happy New Year.

WP XSS Reciprocal Links with Relevant Anchor Text

Here you go. A simple, little hack to get reciprocal links to all your blog pages via XSS link-injection.

Simply add the code below to the sidebar.php/single.php/footer.php file of your WP blogs.

WP has screwed-up the code, so I’ve placed it in a zipped text file: http://www.contentgeneration.org/xsslink.zip

Been Too Busy With a Social Networking Project…

I know I haven’t posted here in a while, but I got so wrapped-up is a social networking project, I lost track of time!

I’ll have a look at the Article Scraper in a few days time and try to resolve the issues. And then, I’ll release the Engine and BH Plug-in almost simultaneously next week.

Plus, who want a WP XSS reciprocal-link hack? Basically, XSS reciprocal links with relevant anchor text to every page of your WP blog. And it’s only a single line of code!

The Article Scraper (Part 1 of the BH MMS)

Here’s the first part of a four-part-series about building your own blackhat money-making system (BH MMS).

The Article Scraper simply scrapes articles from sites and outputs them in SQL format ready to be imported into your Engine database. First, let’s cover the Scraper user-interface and then usage details after.

Article Scraper UI

1. Table Name: this is simply a name of a table under which your articles will be stored. You’ll create a new table for every niche you target. For instance, you could create tables for: golf, playstation, mortgage, insurance, internet_marketing, furniture, jewellery, etc.

2. SQL Output File Name: The name of the output file with an SQL extension.

3. Maximum Pages Per URL: This simply limits the number of pages scraped from a specific site. Some sites contain forums, so limiting the number of pages spidered prevents the Scraper from scraping an entire forum which could take days!

4. Maximum Page Size: Some sites have very large pages which would certainly slow down the Scraper, so this option limits the size of scraped pages.

5. URLs: A list of sites to be scraped. One URL per line with the ‘http’ prefix.

6. Start (button): After entering the above settings, the Start button starts the process of scraping. When the scraping process is complete and the SQL file created, a ‘finished’ dialog box is displayed.

The Scraper can be downloaded here, unzip and then click Setup to install. If you have problems with the SpiderXlib ActiveX control, download it from here and install.
Your firewall may block the Scraper from accessing the Web, in which case you might get an ‘Invalid URL’ message which indicates that a specified URL is invalid or it cannot access the Web, if this happens, modify your firewall settings.

Here’s the Article Scraper source code (written in vb.net). Note there is little error checking, and I’ve kept it as simple as possible.

If you start playing with the Scraper soon, you’ll be able to use it properly when the other parts of the BH MMS are published. Simply, create a MySQL database, add a table with two fields – ID and articles: ‘ID’ is auto-increment and the primary key, while ‘articles’ is simply a text field to hold the articles. Then scrape a few sites and import the articles into the database.

When you’ve got some experience of using the Scraper, your goal is to scrape about several thousand articles per niche, then import them into the Engine datbase. This will provide the Engine algorithm with enough content to generate hundreds of thousands (or even millions) of unique posts. I’ll explain more when I publish Part 2.

Update: I recommend you install the SpiderXlib ActiveX control here before running the Scraper (and obviously you must have .NET 2.0 installed as well). Let me know how you get on.

Moved My Biz to Local Offices

I’ve been working from a home-office for a long while. And, for the most part, it’s been great, although there have been a few distractions :-)

But, to take my business to the next level, I’ve had no choice to lease offices, and a newly built technology-park provided the ideal place to expand. I’ve employed one full-time guy and will employ a part-timer soon’ish.

I’ve got some great projects lined up including a number of mini forums, a series of BH/WH SEO experiments (the results of which will be discussed on this blog), some naughty BH stuff, my attempt at a social networking website, and others too.  My goals for this blog have changed somewhat over the last few months. So, I won’t be releasing any commercial tools/scripts, but, instead, I’ll share, in one way or another, lite versions of some advanced tools I’ve designed.

Also, this blog will undergo a domain-name change and a template makeover next month some time.

Build Your Own Blackhat Money-Making System

After several months of teasing, over the coming weeks (starting soon) I will release a series of posts about building your very own BH money-making system based on Wordpress.

The system will comprise:

1. An article scraper;
2. A content generation engine (MySQL database + content-generating algorithm);
3. And the  Blackhat Plugin.

I will do almost all of the coding for you, however, you will have to do a little. Thus, you will need some knowledge of PHP, VisualBasic and an understanding of MySQL… so start reading and learning now!

What will you be able to do with the BH system? You will be able to build and monetize niche splogs very, very quickly! In fact, you’ll be amazed at how quickly you can churn out splogs. Admittedly, individual splogs don’t earn very much, but if you create hundreds or thousands (or more) per month, it certainly does mount up!

The article scraper, written in VB, provides source material (stored in MySQL database) for the content-generation algorithm.

The content generation engine is certainly Blackhat 2.0! It’s totally scalable, very flexible in the sense that you can simply modify the content algorithm to keep abreast of spam filters, and it can easily serve content to many thousands of splogs per day on an inexpensive, shared hosting account.

The BH plugin is where you control monetization, redirection (IP), cloaking (IP), niche selection and other settings too, and it’s dead simple to use.

Additionally, I will discuss some ways to monetize your splogs. So, if you want build your own BH money-making system stay-tuned!

Sitepoint Marketplace for Money-Making Ideas

Many SEOs are already doing this, but if you’re not one of them, you should seriously consider visiting SitePoint Marketplace a few times per week and having a detailed look at some of the sites for sale. The purpose of the visits is not to buy sites, although if there is a bargain then why not, but to research how successful niche sites are being designed, monetized, promoted, and find other useful stats about them too.

I started doing this last year and since then, SP Marketplace has given me some brilliant website ideas that have generated quite a bit of money. Initially, I tried to keep all the good ideas in my head, but that didn’t work for long! Then I came across ActionOutline, and what an amazing note-making tool it is! After using it for a while, it’s become absolutely indispensable! I recommend you try it for free.

Here’s just one example of using SP Marketplace: I recently bought a bingo-based domain from TDNAM with PR and backlinks for less than $15. I bought it because, other than being an absolute bargain, I remembered seeing a bingo site on SP for sale a while ago which included detailed traffic, keyword, and revenue statistics. So I checked my notes in ActionOutline, found the original bingo site and implemented some its ideas on my new bingo site.

I estimate my new bingo site will bring in over $3k per month from organic traffic once established, which is not bad considering I will spend less than $2k overall on content and promotion (getting backlinks), and probably less than 50 hours overall on site development.

Whitehat MFAs

If you don’t know what MFAs are, you shouldn’t be reading this blog :-)

This is another idea I had and have used to degree a while ago – and still do. Other BHs use it too, of course.

If you’re worried about losing your Adsense account or having your blogs banned, instead of churning out 100’s of splogs, why not create a network of WH blogs? If you target the right niche, it still does pay!

So, the biggest problem is content right? Well, if you’re prepared to work at it or outsource (or both), it’s not so difficult. There are many millions of free articles from sites like articledashboard.com, articlecity.com, ezinearticles.com, goarticles.com, etc. Obviously, you can’t use those articles as-is because they won’t rank due to those damn duplicate content filters! However, if you modify the articles so they are around 50% different they should bring in traffic, according to my experiments.

What do I mean by 50%? Well, I totally change the title, delete a five or more sentences, add five or more sentences and change two or more words in every existing sentence. On average, it takes about 5 minutes to customize each article so it’s unique. Overall, that’s about 12 per hour or about 60 for 5 hours work. But, it’s easy to outsource the customization of the articles as long as you are very specific with the requirements.

In a month, it would be easy to build 20 WH MFAs with about 100 articles each.

To get you going, here’s a feed containing 1000 mortgage related articles scraped from a popular article site.

TDNAM for Cheap Domains with PageRank

I’ve mentioned this on several forums, but I’ll recap here because someone recently left me a comment about it.

Tens of thousands of domains expire everyday. But, for some unknown reason, a small percentage retain their PR and backlinks, and TDNAM is an ideal place to find and buy them cheaply. However, because of the sheer quantity that expire, trying to find the quality domains manually is exceptionally difficult.

So, a while back I built a TDNAM URL scraper and PR checker tool, and have since bought many, many PR 3, 4 and some PR 5 domains for less than $15 each!

I won’t provide the tool I wrote, but it’s easy enough to build your own with VB/C#.

Download the DLL component and add a project reference to it (project->add reference). And, here’s some simple VB code that get Google’s PR and backlink count.

Imports PRChecker

Dim informer As GInformer = New PrInformer()
Dim backlink As GInformer = New BackLinksInformer()
Dim pagerank, backlinks As Integer

pagerank = informer.GetInfo(”http://google.com”)
backlinks = backlink.GetInfo(”http://google.com”)
