Combating a Link Spamming Penalty
I’ve already talked about link spamming. But here’s a reminder of what not to do. In this post, Quads discusses the story of Kamihr.
What he did was spam 30,000+ links in under 2 months to his white Hat site that had only 2000 links to begin with. He used 10 different anchor texts (all the ones he wanted to rank for) and spammed them to the pages he wanted to rank.
And soon afterwards Kamir’s site was penalized.
Directly spamming links to a premium WH site – a high quality website – is very, very, very risky. And, in most cases, is simply not worth the risk! Why? Because all it takes to get a site penalized is a single spam report.
However, if you’ve already spammed links to a WH site and got it penalized, here’s a tactic that is worth trying.

Imagine if one of your sites had dropped in the SERPs and, after some checking, you found that some one had spammed 30,000 links to it. What could you do about it? File a Reconsideration Report: Tell Google that you suspect a competitor had deliberately spammed links to your site to harm its ranking. You could even spam links to a real competitor’s site and suggest to Google that someone is doing it on a large scale. So, if you’ve had a site penalized for link-spamming, consider filing a Reconsideration Report
In the next post, we’ll talk about using Xrumer to promote WH sites, by simply spamming links to parasites and exploiting them with parasite blogs, instead of directly to the sites.

I would like to find out about becoming a member. I am a fast learner and a good online citizen. I am open minded and very positive.
Thank you
What if you used the bot to just save some time and only posted to 100 places a day and switched link text. Would that constitute spamming?
