I’ve just tested it, and so have a few others, on WP 2.9.1 and it works fine!

i looked at the code, clever stuff! a double java-script redirect, a referrer check and then a header redirect to the merchants site - pure genious! got it working with 2.9.1 also.

Brad is it possible to code a redirect that can redirect from your homepage url without redirecting from the index.php where you have the script.

Example mysite.com —-> aff url

Instead of mysite.com/index.php —-> aff url

Ive been trying to figure this out from the original version of cpa redirector. Am I just wasting my time???

Forgot to mention It is when using the standalone version. I put the standalone script in my index.php and the referer is always mysite.com/index.php when i do a referrer test instead of only mysite.com

@Charlie: SCPA 2.1 (above) removes the index.php

What would happen if i just remove this code and dont use it. Would it create any problem with the referrer?

@Salv: Use the WP plugin version. The standalone version is obviously not meant to be used with WP.

Great post. Last week I got dropped from two cpa network. I was using cloaker from WP (free plugin) but it didnt work. By looking into the reviews, I am sure the same will not be repeated to me.

very nice script, thanks. my affiliate links contain a 1×1px pixel to show how often “the ad” is displayed to the users. if I use your script, the pixel will not be shown. Is there a way to implement the affili-pixel somewhere..?
any idea?

@Pete: it’s used for tracking, we simply remove any tracking pixels.

ok.. i think my affiliate network will not accept any leads/sales/click without “showing” the ad… i will have a look at your framebased solution…

@Pete: I and many WPBlackhat members have done exactly that with most networks without a single problem.

However cause I am going to be incentivising people, I need to keep clickthrough rations low. is there any cheap provider of USA traffic you know of that is reliable and brings a steady flow of traffic? (so I keep a realistic 1-5% conversion rates) ie: send about 100 hits a day (rather than 90 hits in 3 minutes and 10 in 23 hours…) many thanks! Al

I have some long URLs to re-direct to and they are being truncated to 170 characters (some are 190 characters long). Of course the re-direct does not work with out the full URL.
Is there a modification that I can make to allow the longer URLs?

I’ve try your CPA-R WP Plugin but it doesn’t work for browsers with javascript disabled (noscript user?). How can I make custom page for this instead of the blank page?

@Krasi: No need to edit the header.

@Dota: JS is standard Web technology used by many, many sites and most users have it activated. I think you’d need some custom code to check for it.

hi brad, using the cpa framer the browser blocks cookies from the affiliate links due to non existing p3p. this means my traffic will not count correctly. is there a way to allow the cookies come through the cpa framer??

i installed version 2 on a fresh wp install & the plugin shows activated. i don’t see any control panel or way to use this… did i need version 1 installed first?

Brad, you mentioned that version 2 “works with ALL networks and is totally undetectable” - But does it work for C.J.?

Love the plugin. Using v2 without issue. But, v2.1 throws a plugin has invalid headers error when uploading directly in wp admin. (v2.9.2)
