Xrumer is the ultimate link-spamming tool! It can link-spam forums, blogs and guest books, but it’s particular effective at spamming forums with a host of ways for  defeating anti-spam protection including many types of captures.

I’ve already blogged about stealth, forum link-spamming which is a very popular post. Since then I received many requests for more ways to use Xrumer effectively.

So, here’s a safe way to use Xrumer for deep linking; i.e., linking to your internal website pages. What I mean by ‘safe’ is that you shouldn’t get any spam complaints as you’re only registering at forums and not posting.

Start up Xrumer (I’m using Xrumer 5 - the best version so far), click Options then Advanced Options and check the “Registering only (without posting)” checkbox.

Now click Options, again, and then Profiles activation via email. Choose “Automatic mode” and set “Check every email” to 1 minutes.

Create a new project (click Project then New), and click Autofilling and ensure you have the email set-up correctly so forum email-registrations can be confirmed automatically, then save the project

Now on to the juicy stuff! A new feature of Xrumer allows you to set a forum-profile homepage to any URL. But, you can use Xrumer’s built-in variation system to randomly choose a URL from a list. To understand this better, imagine using Xrumer to register at 1000 forums, and in each forum profile you can set the Homepage option to the URL of internal page on one of your sites. Imagine the links you could get to your sites’ internal pages?

The final step, before you begin using Xrumer to register at forums, is to set the project Homepage to the list of URLs you want to promote. The best way to do this is edit the project file directly. However, first understand how Xrumer’s variation system works (it’s dead simple):

{variant1|variant2|variant3|…}

So, for us, we’ll include the list of URLs we want to promote into the variation’s system format. (From my experience, don’t use much more than 500 URLs in the Homepage setting as it can cause problems with Xrumer.)

You’re probably thinking how do I gather a list of URLs from my site and put them in the variation format for Xrumer to use? Well, I only use Wordpress blogs (as it’s the ultimate BH CMS) so I’ll share a simple plugin that gathers all blog page links and echoes them in the proper format. It’s called blog spider.

Ok, the final thing to do is to paste the links directly into the project file before starting Xrumer: Goto C: drive and open the Xrumer folder, then open the Project folder and finally open the project. Place the cursor between <Homepage></Homepage> and click paste, save and close.

Now you’re ready to get links to you site’s internal pages.
