How to Manage Your Autoblog Empire

Succeeding with autoblogs is a numbers game: some do well, some do crap, and a few do really well! Even with the best niche and keyword research, you can’t guarantee a new blog will be a success. But, once you accept that, it’s no big deal if some fail! You keep building and promoting and eventually dump the losers – let them expire or sell them.

However, have you ever tried managing a few dozens blogs, or 500 or even over 2000? It can be a nightmare, even with WP multi-blog managers – and I’ve tried a few! Imagine checking the stats, updating plugins, swapping themes, etc, etc?

However, for a while now I’ve been using WPMU and the domain mapping plugin.

With WPMU and the domain mapping plugin, you can create blogs and map them to domains virtually instantly. You can manage dozens, hundred or thousands of blogs easily. Updating or adding new plugins and themes is a breeze. Checking stats or generating traffic reports for any number of blogs is child’s play!

With WPMU and the domain mapping plugin, a single admin panel controls ALL your blogs. You can create new blogs in seconds with various plugins and a chosen theme automatically activated… you cannot imagine the power of this system until you use it!

With autoblogs, the money is in the numbers. However, managing them is only half the battle – and you won’t beat WPMU and the domain mapping plugin – the other half is promoting them. Any decent autoblog-empire will generate thousands of posts a day, promoting them can be a full time job in itself. But, with the imminent release of our new autoblog forum, our goal will be to create a small number of WP plugins that automatically builds links from many sources to all blogs in the empire… it will be pretty amazing stuff!
