Parasite Poster Launched

We’ve just launched Parasite Poster inside WPBlackhat! Many of you will know what parasites are; some won’t, so here’s Matt Bush’s definition.

“I would like to start off by talking about what I mean by the words, ‘Parasite Hosting’. The word ‘parasite’ doesn’t sound very pleasant does it? Parasite hosting is simply put, a popular website that allows people to setup their own pages right on the website itself. I would like to share an analogy with you:

Let’s say that you would like to open up a retail store that sells shoes. Let’s also say that you live in a small town. Where would you rather open your shop, down a dark alley where no one even travels, or at the centre of your busy mall? Of course it would make sense to open at the mall!

When you build your own website, it is kind of like setting up a shop in the dark part of town. No one knows about it, and the search engines don’t even travel through that “part of town”. Think about how great it would be if you could also setup a “satellite” shop in the local mall. This could be a way to take advantage of all of the mall’s traffic and reputation, while helping to get your site recognized. This is exactly what parasite hosting does. If you’ve ever visited someone’s blogger blog, squidoo lens, weebly, wetpaint, or even myspace page, you’ve been to a parasite host.”

Our goal is to turn Parasite Poster into a powerful collection of tools similar to SE Nuke or BruteForce SEO, but without high-costs (it’s free for WPBlackhat members) or bugs. It will easily make WPBlackhat the most potent, private membership site on Web!
