Stealth Forum-Spamming With Xrumer

Xrumer is a professional-grade, automated link-spammer. It can link-spam blogs, forums, guest books, and referral logs.

The typical approach to link-spamming forums, involves hitting as many as possible and hoping some will stick. However, such a gung-ho approach often yields a low success rate, as the forum mods and/or forum owner(s) are usually wary of links in posts from new members and often delete them, especially blatant spam links.

But there is another way…

After trying to find a stealth way to spam insert my links into forums, I came up with this tactic.

First, put Xrumer into registration mode only, and register with a tons of forums. Ensure all email activation links have been processed by Xrumer and then make an initial post to the forums. Something like:

Hi,

I’m new to the forum and just saying hello.

Ensure the project is saved in a separate directory with the database files and let the posts lie dormant for a while. Create a new project, register with the forums again, and make another initial post, like:

Hello guys & gals, I’m Joe!

Keeping on doing this and saving the projects in separate directories. Eventually, you’ll have hundreds of thousands of dormant posts waiting to be exploited; you could easily have several million if you wanted to!

Now the fun starts. When you need some links, load the database ‘EForumsList’ into Xrumer from one of the projects. Modify the Message Text to include a fake signature (a few underscores) and a link. For example, the above post becomes:

Hi,

I’m new to the forum and just saying hello.
____________
blackhat seo blog

If you run Xrumer now, it will modify all the dormant posts to include the fake signature and link. And you can keep on doing this whenever you need more links. The longer the posts lie dormant in the forums, the more buried they become and, consequently, the less suspicion arises from modifying them. Also, you have a huge network of dynamic links that can pointed anywhere at anytime!

In another post, I’ll share a way to get all the forum posts indexed as quickly as possible so you don’t have to wait weeks for the links to count.

  2. Brad on July 10th, 2007

Yeah, but there’s a learning curve and numerous hours in building databases, but after that it’s a breeze!

When building lists with xrumer, any recommendations on how to stay away from honey pots? I seem to be getting stuck in them.

    Brad

How does this program differ from tracback spider and should I wait for version 4.0 to come out or should I go ahead and buy the most current version of xrumer?

  5. Brad on August 3rd, 2007

Jeremy: I don’t see how you can avoid them unless you’re aware them.

sonny: Xrumer link spams forums, blogs, guest books, ref logs, it doesn’t do trackbaks yet. If you intend to buy, I’d wait for version 4 to be released. I’m beta testing it and it’s the most professional link-spamming tool on the market by far! However, you still have to put the effort in and build databases.

I really like this tactic. Can this only be used with xrummer or can you do this with a less expensive software solution.

    Brad,

Any chance you could negotiate a Xrumer discount for your blog readers? :)

I look forward to the post on getting the forum links indexed as quickly as possible.

you can find a free version 2.9 crack on some .ru site (I forgot the domain, was over a year ago, I just remember it was a .ru).

Saves ya $500 for 1 hour of searching.

Version 2.9 is no comparison to version 4!

    Hey Brad,

When do you plan on coming out with this post:

“In another post, I’ll share a way to get all the forum posts indexed as quickly as possible so you don’t have to wait weeks for the links to count.”

I’ve got ants in my pants. :)

  14. John on October 30th, 2007

Initial post is just like hello post. Should we post another post with signature link, so that all previous post will have that signature?

  15. duster on November 1st, 2007
