Sounds cool. Thanks for posting. Not sure if you've seen this yet (it's from '06) but a good outline of emerging Web 2.0 trends nonetheless:

@Zelune - I felt the same way about the term...in fact I still do somewhat. It's helpful though in business because of its marketability so unfortunately I had to accept and learn. It can actually be turned into quite a profitable service offering though and it's easy to sell (especially to existing clients). What's nice about it is the awareness marketing is already being done for you (like it was and still is with SEO). For example, larger companies are starting to ask for Web 2.0 strategies having NO idea what Web 2.0 means. If you're already a vendor, it's very easy to say, "hey we've got that covered, here's the bill."

I think the word web2.0 is just a gimmick/sales speech. The web has been expanding to be easier for people since day 1... and it will continue to be easier in time to come.

hey that sounds awesome... i have a domain http://quizzems.com that i am developing a web 2.0 site on....it is a mashup of all the different q and a sites, along with relevant content from wikipedia, youtube, etc...

i also have been thinking about "web x.0" and how awesome it would be to be at the forefront of that movement. enough hard work may just get me there!
