Xrumer Aggressive Posting Mode: How to Avoid Complaints
Since running this blog for the last few years, Xrumer tips have probably been one of the most popular requests. So, I thought I’d share a tactic which works great with the Xrumer aggressive posting mode option.
But, first, I’ve received growing number of emails about when WPBlackhat is officially opening again – very soon! We currently have 700 members and are the most active, BH underground private-membership site on the Web. We will be opening the doors for 300 new members as we are expanding to 4 new forums – some exciting stuff going on! However, if you are thinking about joining, DON’T do what this guy did: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/blogging/177927-question-seriously-has-anyone-heard-wpblackhat.html He’s now banned from joining! The whole point of a private membership site is that things stay private.
Ok, let’s move on. If you’ve ever played with the aggressive mode of Xrumer, you know it can really piss off forum owners because it creates multiple threads after registering. And, if you spam a lot of forums you WILL get complaints! But, with the following tactic, I’ve had ZERO complaints so far
Here’s what to do: create a highly spun post for Xrumer that includes at least 3 URLs. 2 of the 3 URLs are randomly chosen sites in different niches to you.
The post will be something like this:
The internet is great. You can visit sites like [Website 1] and read some great info. Another great site is about [website 2] – this really provides great tactics about blah, blah, blah, blah. Finally, go to [Website 3] and you’ll learn about blah, blah, blah.
But, it will be in spinning syntax – {word1|word2|etc}. To create the above post in spin syntax I recommend you use The Best Spinner – it’s awesome! Website 1 and Website 3 are not your sites and they are used as red herrings. On your site Website 2, use this plugin: http://www.contentgeneration.org/temporary-cloaking-while-link-spamming/ – it allows spiders to see your site (blog) while displaying a ‘suspended’ message to human visitors.
How does this tactic work? When forum owners see your posts on their forum, they will click the links. Out of the 3 sites, 2 work fine and 1 is suspended. So the forum owners ignore the suspended site (your site), and complain to the other two site owners or their hosts or registrars – but you will get few if any complaints! So, far I’ve not got one complaint and this link-spamming tactic is very effective if you spin the post a lot!
Use this tactic for deep linking to your sites and don’t just throw all the links at the homepage!
As a forum owner, I don’t need to click these links to find out that this kind of posting is pure spam. The post itself tells it all. It’s always the same pattern.
Post removed, member banned, bam.
fuckin’ aweosome as usual, man.
@Klaus: First, it’s not personal, it’s business. We like to get more links to out-rank our WH buddies. Second, it’s a number game. Yes, many posts get removed, but, often, enough get through to make it worthwhile
Brad,
Klaus makes a great point, this may stop someone from complaining to your ISP, but having 3 posts is a big flag for most forums owners, even most of the plugins to stop spam have a rule, if there are more than 1 link on a post, they take it as spam. I have tested this in 1000’s of forums and my posts go to moderation or “may be spam, needs approval”
I am not saying it will not work, I am saying, it may trigger some flags and even if it is not software that detects the spam, as soon as the forum owners sees the 3 links, they will delete the post.
I found that posting one good, natural post, is a better way to get your links to stay… any feedback or more discussion is welcome
TK
What many forum admins like Klaus fail to understand is that in many cases when these posts “stick” there are often a LOT of links built TO these forum posts and user profiles providing a huge benefit to the forum owner …
@TK: This post is not about aggressive vs non-aggressive posting. But, some Xrumer users do use aggressive mode effectively, so this tactic is about reducing the risk of complaints. I use both modes and registering with profiles only.
@Greg Watson: Exactly! Lot’s of Xrumer pros use Xrumer to create doorways. I think a lot a forum owners don’t understand this tactic. They are missing out on hundreds of thousands of free backlinks for their forums.
